What are you going to do?

Your job as an order picker
Let’s start by saying that as an order picker, you won’t be doing any heavy lifting. You also won’t be working in a cold environment. You will be handling products from Parkside, fashion, and toys, and the boxes are never bigger than a microwave. So, no weightlifting, but plenty of movement! You will walk approximately 15 kilometers per day. The distribution center is 100,000 m², but don’t worry – you will have your own work area, so you won’t need to cover the whole space.

What will you be doing exactly?

• Picking small, non-food items using a hand scanner and cart.
• Checking the correct quantities and product quality.
• Working together with colleagues from other departments, like pack and sort.
• Keeping your workspace clean and safe.
