Your job as a team manager logistics Venlo

As a logistics team manager, you are responsible for a specific part of our operation, for example the entire inbound or outbound process. Your goal? Maximize efficiency, reduce costs and guarantee the best possible purchasing experience for our customers.

What are you going to do?

• Leading a team of 50-70 employees and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• You recruit and guide your employees and discuss their development with them.
• With involvement and enthusiasm you create a pleasant, collegial working atmosphere. Thanks to you, your employees get the best out of themselves and customers receive their orders on time.
• Ensuring a positive working environment and effective collaboration between departments.
• Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Responsible for adhering to safety procedures and creating a safe working environment.
• Interact with internal departments such as Transport, Disposition and IT and act as a point of contact for colleagues at our head office in Neckarsulm.

•    You have at least completed an MBO (level 4)/HBO education and at least 3 years of work experience in an e-Commerce or Logistics environment
•    Experience in one or more of the following domains: Inbound , Outbound, IBT, Process or managing an automated process.
•    Good communication and numerical skills
•    You are a good organizer and your team perceives you as reliable.
•    You have knowledge of English and German.
•    You have experience with MS applications (Word, Excel).
•    Knowledge of SAP EWM is a plus!
•    Flexibility: you have no problem working evenings, nights and weekends.

From our headquarters in Neckarsulm (Heilbronn region, Germany), we develop modern, future-oriented logistics concepts and support the establishment of new distribution centres.
Our XXL distribution centre in Venlo (110,000 m²) is a strategic buffer DC within our e-commerce supply chain. The goods are shipped directly from the port to our distribution centre, where we manage buffer stocks for our online distribution centres. From these distribution centres, the orders are shipped to our customers.

•    Robots unload the containers shipped by our own shipping company.
•    The robots place the products on the conveyor belt of our sorting machine, where the boxes are automatically labelled and sorted/
