Are you our new colleague who will help us with technical problems? Our e-commerce distribution center is more than 100.000 m2, which presents sufficient technical challenges. Wat ga je doen?

• You carry out daily inspection and control rounds and monitor the general safety of the technical installations and transport systems.
• You carry out control studies in relation to circuit diagrams, measurements and PLC programs.
• You carry out inspections, maintenance and, if necessary, repairs on : conveyor belts, fully automatic box erectors, telescopic conveyor belts, labeling machines and vertical conveyor belts,
• Where maintenance and repair work is partly done by external companies, you are the one who directs them and checks that work.
• Colleagues can count on you to do your work safely and efficiently.
• In an atmosphere of collegiality, you work closely with your colleagues from the various departments to ensure that all processes run as smoothly as possible.

Wie ben jij?

• You have completed a technical education and/or (junior) work experience in the technical industry.
• You are someone who can work independently, but also function well in a team.
• Weekends or any changing shifts are no problem for you.
• Experience in logistics or in a warehouse environment is not required, you will receive a tailor-made training program in the distribution center.
• Dutch or English language skills are required.

Faster, bigger, more efficient – this is not unknown to us. For more than 10 years, at Lidl Online International Logistics (LOIL), we have been developing international logistics strategies, modernizing our warehouses and providing logistics guidance for the roll -out of new distribution centers. We keep all the reins for this at our head office in Neckarsulm (Heilbronn region/Germany). The XXL distribution center in Venlo has an area of 110,000 m². Here LOIL takes care of the storage and transhipment of non-food items. Several distribution centers in Europe are supplied from the renovated warehouse. A service provider is responsible for the logistics operation on behalf of LOIL.
